Tema Community 3: We Are Working Hard To Stop Stray Cattle Movement In The Community – Assembly Man
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

The Assemblyman for Tema Community 3 Electoral Area, Owusu Bempah has assured residents that his outfit is doing everything it can to address the movement of stray cattle, which is causing a lot of inconvenience in public places in the community.

There have been several complaints from residents who say stray cattle are rampaging through the area and causing damage to their properties.

In an interview on Plan B FM ‘Nkosuo Nsem’ with Ohene addo, Mr. Bempah said the Assembly is working assiduously to bring the situation under control.

“It’s true we are having challenges with stray cattle movement in the area. We’ve been able to clamp down on some of the cattle; we are doing our best to end the menace. The criminal Act 29 section 300 talks about stray cattle. So we are not resting on our oars, we are doing everything possible to put a stop to it” he said.

He quickly called on cattle owners to find a decent cow shelter to house their cattle to curb them from moving around the community indiscriminately.
