A horrific incident has occurred at Adugyama in the Ahafo Ano South East District of the Ashanti Region, where a young man, believed to be 18-years-old, allegedly shot an Okada rider to death.

The incident occurred on Tuesday, March 4, 2025.

Some eyewitness in an interview said the suspect fled the scene with the victim’s motorbike, leaving the Okada rider to die.

In a surprising twist, residents revealed that the suspect was involved in an accident while attempting to escape and was rushed to Mankranso Hospital.

Okada riders in the area reportedly stormed the hospital, threatening to kill the suspect, but timely police intervention prevented further violence.

The suspect is now in police custody.
