Teen talent Ignatius Bossompem tragically passes after on-field collision in division two clash

Promising young footballer Ignatius Bossompem has passed away following a collision during a Division Two League match between Young Madrid and Naano Royals in the Western Region.

The incident occurred during a keenly contested third-tier encounter, leaving players and spectators in shock as medical personnel rushed to assist the stricken player.

Bossompem, who represented the Western Regional Division Two side Young Madrid, was immediately transported to the Samartex Hospital after the collision. Despite efforts by the medical team, he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

The tragic news has cast a shadow over the regional league, with tributes pouring in for the talented player whose career was beginning to take shape.

The Ghana Football Association and the Western Regional Football Association are yet to comment on the incident.
