Mauricio Johnson has pleaded guilty to killing a girl, 16, and her parents.
A young man who killed a girl and her parents after her father found them in bed together has been sentenced to 150 years in jail.
Mauricio Johnson pleaded guilty to the triple murder after agreeing a deal with prosecutors that will allow him to become eligible for parole.
Johnson told the court that he killed dad Nikki Metcalf and mum Margarett Moon after he was found in bed with their 16-year-old daughter Shelley Autumn May Moon on February 9.
Johnson had been let into the home in Rohnerville Rancheria Reservation, in north California, by “several minors”, the prosecution said.
When most of the people at the home had gone to bed, Mr Metcalf walked into his daughter’s room and found Johnson getting “intimate” with her in bed.

A Utah State Bureau of Investigations warrant said that the dad then hit Johnson.
“The male subject [Johnson] was on top of [Shelly]. Nikki Metcalf hit the male,” the warrant states, reported the Daily Mail.
It said that Johnson left the room “walked into the living room pulling up his pants” and then pulled out a gun and shot Mr Metcalf who was following him.
The girl’s mum Ms Moon was then awoken by the firing and was shot by Johnson when she went into the living room to investigate. She died later in hospital.
Johnson then shot the girl “because he did not want to have any witnesses” the warrant chillingly said.
Margarett Moon was also killed by Johnson when she went to investigate the gunshots
After the killing Johnson returned to his home and fled the state with his mother Melissa Sanchez Johnson and her then partner Von Keener in a Toyota Highlander, it is reported.
Police quickly started a man hunt and his car was spotted in Utah. Having refused to stop for officers, the vehicles tyres were spiked and the three occupants taken into custody.
According to investigators, the trio said that they were heading to a friend or family member’s residence in Indiana.
Johnson is scheduled to be sentenced on January 21.
