Technical Director Manuel Pinto ‘Quits’ Hearts Of Oak Eight Days Into His Appointment

Hearts of Oak new technical director coach Carlos Manuel Vaz Pinto has left the Phobians after just eight days in the job.

Reports indicate that the Portuguese trainer has left the shores of Ghana to his native country after a disagreement with the club’s board of directors over assistant coach.

Pinto was against the board’s decision to make Edward Nii Odoom the assistant coach.

Odoom took over from Kim Grant in November, 2019.

The trainer requested for the services of club legends Lawrence Adjah-Tetteh and Amankwah Mireku as his deputies which was rejected by the board of directors.
