Tanker Overturns at Tema: Motorists Urged to Take Alternative Routes

Motorists traveling from the Motorway Roundabout to the Valco Roundabout in Tema are being urged to take alternative routes after a tanker accident on Friday, March 27.

The overturned tanker, bearing registration number GN 4978-12, blocked the busy roundabout, prompting an emergency response.

The Ghana National Fire Service confirmed that crews are on site containing a spill of naphthalene condensate and ensuring public safety.

Motorists have been advised to avoid the area to reduce congestion and allow emergency teams to manage the incident efficiently.
