Information reaching Tema base Plan-B FM indicates that Suyani West Constituency of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Bono Region has branch of the Suyani West its Communication Director, Atta Bosomtwe from office.
The sacking of the Communication Director has reportedly shocked a lot of party faithfuls in the constituency with party’s Delegates Congress expected to take place in few hours in Kumasi in the Ashanti region.
The sacked Communication Director prior to his sacking was supposed to have joined other party executive to lead a delegation from the constituency to the Conference in Kumasi. As it stands now he is unable to do that because he cannot carry himself as an official of the party.
In a press statement to the press, the party explained that the termination of Mr. Bosomtwe’s appointment with the party was because he has relocated from the Sunyani West Constituency to take appointment with Cocobod in a different region.
Portion of the letter read “As you may be aware, communication is very vital to the party as far as 2024 election is concerned. The Constituency executive Committee has decided to find a replacement for you in order to attain maximum communication efficiency in the Constituency due to your appointment which has taken you to a different Constituency. ”
Reports from the constituency say the sacked Communication Director is however unhappy about the decision but has chosen to remain silent because the letter wasn’t signed by Regional Chairman Kwame Baffoe Abronye nor the Constituency Chairman.
