Stop attacking fire fighters – GNFS urges Ghanaians

The Public Relations Officer of the Ghana National Fire Service for Tema Region, ADOIII Ebenezer Yenzu has urged Ghanaian the public to desist from attacking fire fighters in line of duty.

Recently, fire fighters have been attacked across the length and breath of Ghana which needs to be condemned.

In an interview with Nana Asabea on Plan B FM’s ‘Nyansapo Fie’ on Friday, 13 September 2024, the PRO of the Ghana National Fire Service for Tema Region, ADOIII Ebenezer Yenzu expressed dissatisfaction on how fire fighters are being attacked in the country.

“We are doing the work deligently, we don’t feel happy to see Ghanaians loosing their lives and properties through fire outbreak so I’m urging all Ghanaians to desist from attacking fire fighters” he stated.

Mr. Yenzu also expressed worry on how some people rain insult on fire fighters performing their duties and said that, they sometimes swallow it because they are there to serve mother Ghana.
