Stop And Listen; The Purse Is Leaking; Catholic Bishop Conference Sends A Bold Message To Akufo-Addo

The Catholic Bishops Conference of Ghana boldly sent a message to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo at the flagstaff House.

According to the Conference, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo should stop whatever he is doing and listen to them because the national Public purse of mother Ghana is leaking with high rate of corruption, laced with poverty and unemployment.

They further added that, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo’s promise of protecting the National purse appears to be an illusion. That means, the President’s promise to fight corruption can’t be seen nor felt.

The Catholics Bishop Conference is the umbrella body of all the top leaders of the Catholic Church of Ghana. Interestingly, after their message was carried in clarity and urgency, some social media users felt that it’s long overdue.

They wondered why the Catholic Bishops Conference was so quiet including the Christian Council of Ghana and other religious bodies that Criticise government constructively.

It’s our prayer that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo listens to the Catholic Bishops Conference and act accordingly to their demands. It will go a very long way to help the entire citizens of Ghana.
