SSNIT Must Learn To Operate Transparently Enough – Social Commentator

SSNIT Must Learn To Operate Transparently Enough – Social Commentator
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Social Commentator Mr Nicheren Appiah Boadi Has said SSNIT operations must be transparent enough to Ghanaians then other things might not be needed.

Mr Appiah In an interview with Bohyeba Afriyie on Plan B FM’s Ebaanosen said that the operations of SSNIT are not transparent enough for the Ghanaian worker whose money is monthly deducted as SSNIT wage.

“About the increment it is a very good thing but I think the first thing they have to to do is make sure they make everything they do transparent to the workers and also take all loans given to the Government institution if they are not ready to pay they have to sell the collaterals and also make that very transparent to Ghanaians.”

He also said that increasing the amount to be deducted will help the workers but the percentage is quite too much so he will suggest SSNIT sits and discuss this with fair wages and salaries to decide on a good and favorable percentage of increment.

He concluded SSNIT must be for the workers not against the workers.
