A family of six (6) have met their unfortunate death at the Assin Akrofuom south in the Central Region after returning from the 31st night from an unknown church.
The accident happened today at the hours of 12:30 PM. This is very unfortunate as one of the first accidents just in the new year 2022. According to reports, only one of the family has sustained injure and she is currently receiving treatment in a hospital which was not mentioned.
The breakdown of the family is a man and his wife with their five children ranging between the ages of 5-15 report says.
The man who was driving the car at high speed could not apply breaks which got them veered under a high tipper truck.
Bodies of the late have been conveyed to the mortuary for family identification and autopsy.
Moreover, there has also been an accident in Kasoa which happens again to be in the Central Region. A tipper truck has also run over three persons which one died instantly leaving two having their legs mushed.
They are however receiving treatment in a nearby hospital.
