Madam Shirley Ayorkor Botchway, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration is one of the female politicians in Ghana, who appears to look decent and humble.
Indeed, Madam Botchway may be working hard to earn a good reputation for herself, but, unfortunately, dubious activities of some questionable characters around her could dent that enviable accolade.
In fact, one of such persons who could be close to the Foreign Affairs Minister is Isaac Otchere, whom sources say is her (the Minister’s) “darling boy”, who runs some serious operational activities on behalf of the Minister.
Indeed, the ‘supposed darling boy’ of Madam Ayorkor Botchway, has allegedly collected various sums of Ghana cedis, running into about Gh¢200,000 from innocent Ghanaians with a promise of securing them lucrative jobs outside Ghana, particularly in Qatar and in the United Arab Emirate (Dubai).
Intel by thecrystallens.org indicates that Isaac Otchere claims to be an employee of Ghana’s Mission in Qatar and, so, he is capable of securing visas for Ghanaians, who are interested in working outside the country.
So far, pieces of information thecrystallens.org have is that about 25 Ghanaian youth might have fallen victims to Isaac Otchere’s polished pranks.
Our further checks around the corridors of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration suggest that the Sector Minister may not be aware of this sad development, although Isaac Otchere could be one of her errands surrogates.
Meanwhile, Isaac Otchere, who is currently on the run, after collecting the money that ranges from Ghc¢4,000 and above, got employed in Ghana’s Mission in Qatar in 2018. Our source discloses.
Out of about 25 Ghanaians, he is alleged to have defrauded, our scout managed to reach two victims, whose names are Samford Cudjoe and Jonathan Osei.
Cudjoe, who speaks to thecrystallens.org, says Isaac Otchere collected Ghc4,000 from him in 2017 as visa and traveling fees.
He explains that Isaac Otchere told him a company was ready to employ him (Samford Cudjoe) as soon as he arrived in Qatar., because, according to him, Isaac Otchere claims to be an agent for companies in Qatar and Dubai, looking for prospective job seekers from Ghana.
