Several feared trapped after building collapse at Adenta New Site

A storey building has reportedly collapsed at Adenta New Site in the Greater Accra Region, leaving several people feared dead and others trapped beneath the rubble.

Emergency response teams, including personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service and other rescue agencies, are currently at the scene conducting search and rescue operations.

Assistant Division Officer One (ADO1) Alex King Nartey of the Public Affairs Department of the GNFS confirmed the incident in an interview on

He noted that the exact number of casualties is still unknown, but rescue efforts are ongoing to reach those believed to be trapped under the debris.
