Selorm Avedetsi, an NDC communicator for the Ningo Prampram Constituency, has expressed strong concerns about what he describes as the growing influence of Western values on African societies, particularly within educational systems.
Speaking on Nkosuo Nsem, Mr. Avedetsi argued that one of the major challenges facing Black communities is the tendency to assume that ideas and practices originating from Western countries are inherently good and should be accepted without question.
According to him, Africans must begin to stand firm and protect what he described as their cultural identity and traditional values. In this context, he openly opposed the inclusion of LGBTQ-related content in school curricula, stating that Black people should collectively resist such developments
