The Cyber Security Authority, in collaboration with the Ghana Police Service, has arrested one Rev. Dr Ebenezer Conduah for child sexual abuse offences, including the sexual abuse of a minor, aged 17.
Rev Dr Conduah, preliminary investigations show, has uploaded various sexual content onto pornographic websites.
According to the Minister of Communications, Sam George, the self-proclaimed pastor and counsellor was arrested on Friday, March 6, 2026 and has today been put before Court and remanded into custody for three weeks.
Hon. Sam George congratulated the CyberSecurity Authority for the excellent job done, stressing that anyone who breaks cyber laws will be fished out and held to account.
“In the early hours of 6th March, as the Nation prepared to celebrate our 69th Independence Day, the hardworking team at the Cyber Security Authority Ghana effected the arrest of one Rev Dr Ebenezer Conduah in collaboration with the Ghana Police Service.
The self-styled radio International marriage counsellor was arrested for offences relating to Child sexual abuse material in violation of ss.62 and 63 of Act 1038. The abuse of a 17-year-old minor had gone on for the past four years.
The CSA team has uncovered recordings and online postings by the accused on international porn websites. He has been put before the Court today and remanded for 3 weeks to allow the team to complete their investigations,” he wrote.
