Ghana has been hit by a lot of deaths in the past few weeks. We have heard names of famous people like Kohwe, Nana Ampadu, Aboagye Brenya and the mother of Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia die and we wonder what is indeed befalling our great nation.
Earlier today too, the information reaching us is that one of the great chiefs in the Ashanti Region precisely Offinsomanhene, Nana Wiafe Akenten III is also dead. The great chiefs died on 2nd October, 2021 which was Saturday.
Nana Wiafe Akenten III is widely remembered for his developmental projects he did for the people of Offinso. Aside he embarking on developmental projects like schools, hospitals with his hard earned money, he has also seek other infrastructures from the government which has been granted them.
He is also noted for instilling discipline among his sub chiefs that sold same lands to two or more people. This indeed makes his demise a big blow to the people of Ashanti Region and Offinso to be precise.
