Sad News coming from the Ghana Embassy in the United States of America Washington DC have it that a prominent Ghanaian Mrs. Lilian Blankson who was part of their success story has passed on.
The Ghanaian Ambassador to the United States of America His Excellency Barfour Adjei Barwua took to their official Facebook page to make the sad announcement.
He explained that, the late Mrs Lilian Blankson was engaged in the Propagation of African History, especially from her motherland Ghana. During her time with the BLACK ENTERTAINMENT (BET) , she instituted the black History Month program.
The Ghanaian Embassy in the USA encouraged all Ghanaians living at home and abroad to observe some solemn moments to wish her a perfect rest in peace.
Top dignitaries are expected to join her family to observe some funeral moments to bid her farewell.
Indeed Ghana has lost a prominent figure in the arena of Pan Africanism, History, Education and Tourism. May her soul rest in perfect peace.
