Robbers attack Cocoa depot at Fomena, bolt with over GHCl million

Robbers Invade Mission House On New Year’s Eve; Steal GHC13k

Suspected armed robbers have attacked a Cocoa Depot at Fomena in the Ashanti Region and bolted with over GHC1 million, MyNewsGh.com reports.

The bandits also took away mobile phones and shot into the vehicle of the depot manager before fleeing from the scene of crime.

According to MyNewsGh.com’s Ashanti Regional correspondent, the robbery took place on Thursday evening at about 6:20PM It is gathered that the masked  robbers numbering four and armed with Ak47 assault rifles stormed Agro Ecom Company Limited  Cocoa Depot at Adansi Ansah.

They reportedly shot at GMC Terrain 2 vehicle with registration number GS 9576-22 belonging to the District Officer.
