Richard Anning questions relevance of ORAL initiative

“People You Perceive to Be Corrupt Must Be Sent to Court, Not Social Media” – Richard Anning to AG
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Richard Anning, a New Patriotic Party (NPP) communicator for the Tema Central Constituency, has questioned the relevance and impact of the ORAL initiative, describing it as unnecessary and counterproductive.

Speaking on Nkosuo Nsem, Anning expressed concern over what he described as a lack of tangible outcomes from the initiative, despite it being in existence for over a year. He argued that the program has failed to demonstrate its importance or deliver results that justify its continued promotion.

“I don’t see the importance of the ORAL. It has been one year already, and if you are telling us that you are going to be serious this year, then why defame people when you first came?” he questioned.

According to him, any initiative that claims to promote accountability and seriousness must begin with responsible conduct, adding that public defamation undermines credibility and national cohesion.
