Richard Anning: NDC Disrespects Ghanaians, Akwatia Belongs To NPP

“People You Perceive to Be Corrupt Must Be Sent to Court, Not Social Media” – Richard Anning to AG
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Richard Anning has accused the National Democratic Congress (NDC) of showing gross disrespect to Ghanaians, following comments made in the wake of a tragic incident that claimed eight lives.

Speaking on Plan B 104.5 FM’s Nkosuo Nsem, he said while the New Patriotic Party (NPP) continues to honor the seat with dignity, the NDC has the “guts” to claim they could win it without even campaigning. “NDC is a propagandist party—it’s in their DNA,” he stated.

“Akwatia is not a swinging seat; it is an NPP stronghold,” he emphasized, insisting that the NDC has no good intentions for the constituency.

He further noted that Ghana’s main problem is not prophecy but the unregulated spread of information on social media. Mr. Anning called for strict regulations to control online content, warning that the current lack of oversight is damaging the country.
