Some Residents in Ablekuma – Abaase in the Ga Central of the Greater Accra Region has called on the city authorities to come to their aid and fix the deteriorated bridge in their area to enhance smooth accessibility.

Speaking to some residents on Plan B FM’s morning show ‘Nkosuo Nsem’ with Nana Yaw Abrompah, the residents said, it is the only bridge that connects to the main Pokuase road and it has been abandoned for years.

“whenever it rains, motorists, residents, and pedestrians cant ply the road due to the bad nature of the bridge, it affects learning and teaching because teachers and pupils who cross the bridge before going school can’t go for some days”

They call on the Municipal Chief Executive for Ga Central Bashiru Mohammed Kamara, as a matter of urgency to come to their aid to fix the bridge as soon as possible to avoid disaster.
