Remain Calm, EC urges

The Electoral Commission of Ghana has called on the public to remain calm as the commission prepares to declare results of the 2020 Presidential elections.

According to the commission, it is still receiving results from Regional Collation Centers.

In a statement, the Commission stated that it has received 14 results from the Regional Collation Centers with outstanding two regions.

The statement also pointed out that the commission is working with Agents of Political Parties at the National Collation Center.

“The Agents are receiving all results, prior to certification by the Chairperson of the Commission who is the returning officer for the Presidential Election”, the statement said.

However, the Commission extends its apology to the public for its inability to declare the Presidential results at 5pm on December 8, 2020, as planned.
