The Finance Minister, Ken Ofori Atta has said that he is not bothered about Ghanaians who have refused to use mobile money to transact their businesses after the introduction of the E-levy.
President Nana Addo appended his signature to officially introduce E-levy to Ghanaians in the country.
Even though the minority in Parliament refuse to accept the E-levy Bill, it has become clear that there is little they can do about it especially since the President has endorsed it.
Reacting to this, a lot of Ghanaians vowed to stop using mobile money services to stop themselves from paying the extra charges on transactions.
To add more sore to injury, goods and services in Ghana has gone up and everyone is complaining.
When asked about how he felt about the majority of Ghanaians disabling their mobile money accounts, Ken Ofori Atta told GhOne presenters that when reality dawns on them (Ghanaians) they will have no other choice than go back to using momo.
