Greater Accra Regional Minister, Henry Quartey, has warned the Mantse of Klagon, Nii Bortey Klan I not to dare enter his office with the intention of pleading for occupants of the Ramsar site.
“If he dares enter my office, I’ll have him arrested he told Peace FM
The Minister who doubles as the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Ayawaso Central Constituency explained that the Klagon Chief is reportedly behind the sale of lands at the Ramsar site and so he will be arrested to assist in investigations once he steps into his office.
“I’ve heard that the Klagon Chief wants to meet me in my office; let me sound this warning . . . the day he walks into my office is the day I’ll have him arrested. He has openly admitted that he was behind the sale of lands at the Ramsar site and that he will make sure the people stay there, so I’ll have him arrested once he steps into my office,” he openly cautioned him.
