The Circuit Court in Accra presided over by Her Honour Kwabena Obiri Yeboah has remanded the Convener of the Fix The Country Movement, Ralph Williams, and nine others into Police custody for two weeks until October 8.

This was after the Court while refusing an oral application for bail which was opposed by the prosecution said the defense lawyers could come with a formal bail application at the next court date.

They all pleaded not guilty to six counts of conspiracy, unlawful assembly, causing unlawful damage, offensive conduct conducive to the breach of peace, assault on a public officer, and defacement of public notice.

EIB Network’s Legal Affairs Correspondent, Murtala Inusah reports that, the Ralph Williams case is the first of three sets before the Circuit Court 6.
