Put ego aside to survive 2026 business climate” – Christopher Adu Yamson

Public Cautioned Against Consumption Of Unwholesome Products During Christmas

Renowned entrepreneur, marketer and radio business commentator Christopher Adu Yamson has urged business owners and employees to place humility and effective communication at the centre of their operations in 2026 if they hope to thrive.

Speaking on Blutut Africa’s Plan B Drive Time programme on Monday, January 6, 2026, the respected analyst explained that the year’s numerology points to “one (1)”, a symbol he associates with the Sun—bringing with it fire, heat and dramatic change.

According to him, these elements are likely to heighten tension in business interactions, making clients more sensitive and less tolerant, hence the need for professionals to consciously manage their attitudes and emotions.

Affectionately known on air as “Sir Chris”, Yamson stressed that ego could become the biggest enemy of businesses this year, warning that rigid posturing, even when one is right, could drive customers away.

He advised entrepreneurs and workers alike to be more tolerant, communicate clearly, and apologize quickly when necessary, regardless of status or ownership.

“Success in 2026 will not be about who is right, but who is willing to come down to the level of others,” he concluded, calling on businesses to set ego aside as a strategy for growth and sustainability.
