Purchase of electricity credit has been interrupted – ECG

Two Cold Store Operators Surcharged GH¢90,000 For Meter Tampering At Teshie

The Electricity Company of Ghana(ECG) has announced that purchase of power has been disrupted by technical challenges.

The challenges, according to ECG, affected the prepaid metering system.

Affected areas are Volta, Kumasi, Accra, Takoradi, Tema, Cape Coast, Kasoa, Winneba, Swedru Koforidua, Nkawkaw and Tafo.

“Affected customers should please note note that our ICT system is working assiduously to correct the anomaly and restore the system to normalcy,” a statement by the ECG management said.
