Prophet Ebenezer Dunamis, Head Pastor of the Army of God Revival Centre, has called on the public to hold individuals accountable for their promises to avoid disappointment.
In an interview with Nana Asabea on Plan B FM’s Nyansapɔ Fie show, Prophet Dunamis observed that people often renege on their promises due to overwhelming hardships and social responsibilities.
“Lack of communication can lead to disappointment, as individuals tend to forget their commitments until reminded,” Prophet Dunamis emphasized. “It is essential to hold people accountable for their promises to maintain trust and avoid disappointment.”
Echoing Prophet Dunamis’ sentiments, Lady Rev. Charlotte Hanson, Head of the Public Affairs Unit at the Ministry of Employment and Labour Relations, cautioned that vows made in the presence of God come with consequences.
“Individuals must be mindful of their commitments, as they will be held accountable,” Rev. Hanson stated. She acknowledged that even devout Christians can experience periods of doubt and disappointment, particularly during prolonged struggles.
Rev. Hanson cited biblical examples, including the woman who suffered from bleeding for over a decade and the man who waited by the healing river for a miracle. Despite their extended periods of disappointment, both individuals ultimately experienced divine intervention and satisfaction.
Rev. Hanson urged believers to maintain their faith in God, even in the face of adversity and disappointment.
