Poor maintenance culture affecting road conditions — NDC communicator Selorm Avedetsi

Poor maintenance culture affecting road conditions — NDC communicator Selorm Avedetsi
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Selorm Avedetsi, an NDC communicator for the Kpone Katamanso Constituency, has lamented Ghana’s long-standing poor management and maintenance culture, describing it as a major contributor to the country’s deteriorating road network and challenges with transportation.

Speaking on Nkosuo Nsem, Mr. Avedetsi stated that the nation’s failure to properly maintain infrastructure over the years has resulted in the bad road conditions drivers and commuters face today.

According to him, if given the authority, he would not compel any driver to join a union but would rather focus on effective road traffic management to improve safety and efficiency on the roads.

He emphasized that strengthening maintenance systems and improving traffic regulation should be a priority for authorities to ensure safer travel for all road users
