The Ghana police service says it would not shield it who are found culpable of breaking the law.
This is in authority of the two police officers arrested for their alleged involvement in Robbery attacks on bullion vans in Accra. According to the police, other suspects were arrested in connection to the robbery incidents that have occurred in North kaneshie, Jamestown Batsona and kings way.
Mr Nana Appiah Security Analyst spoke to Plan B Fm’s Ebanoosen stated
“ that the incident itself was unusual enough for you to know that the people involved are in house and so this reveal brings me so much joy it only signifies that the police is working extra hard”
“ The police must be very fast with the reveal of the names of the officers involved unless they are having unusual challenges”
He also said that policemen involved in such acts is one of the biggest treat in a country because the citizens will find it very difficult to trust them hence there will be a lot of law in hands cases across the country.
He concluded that the police service must reinstitute the profile check of people they accept in to the service to help sieve the bad nuts out before they even get to the top.
