Police Service Interdict Officer Spotted Smoking Substance Suspected To Be Narcotic Drug In Viral Video

The Ghana Police Service has interdicted the police officer who was spotted smoking what was believed to be a narcotic drug.

The officer, Sgt Isaac Nii Sowah was stationed at the Accra Regional Police Command.

He was filmed in uniform smoking with some hoodlums by a man who told him bluntly that he is a disgrace to the police force for what he was he doing hence will make sure the footage will go viral.

The Police in a statement on Friday, June 10, 2022 says a thorough investigation has been launched and the Sergeant will be taken through the necessary disciplinary and legal action,

In addition, he would be given the necessary psycho-social support in line with the new strategic police welfare policy.
