Police recruitment 2024: Successful applicants invited for medical screening

The Ghana Police Service is inviting all successful applicants in its 2024 recruitment process for medical screening.

The medical examination for the candidates who have been invited through SMS messages will commence on Thursday, November 7-8, 2024.

The medical screening will take place at six designated venues in Accra.

The venues are as follow:

a. Police Church premises, near 37 Military Hospital 
b. Police Church premises, Odorkor 
c. Police Interdenominational Church premises, Police Depot, Tesano 
d. Formed Poke Unit (FPU) Headquarters, Police Depot, Tesano 
e. Detective Training School, Police Depot, Tesano 
f. Police Academy, Police Depot, Texans

The police in a statement on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, said all successful candidates are bear the cost of the medical screening, which the stated put at GH¢980.

The police further cautioned the successful applicants against paying more than the stated amount to anyone for the medical screening process.

“We, therefore, wish to caution the successful candidates in particular and the public in general, that anyone who demands any other payment from any person should be considered a fraudster and must be reported to the Police,” the police statement said.

Additionally, the police also cautioned “unsuccessful candidates against making payment to any person demanding money under the pretext of assisting them to be recruited.”
