Police Arrest Truck Driver For Driving Without Back Tyres

The Ghana Police Service have arrested a driver in charge of a DAF truck with registration no. AS 7324- 12.

The  driver, Kofi Nkansah, was arrested on Sunday, June 12, 2022 at Ejisu after he was captured in a video, driving without his back tyres.

The vehicle has been impounded and the suspect according to the Police will be arraigned before court today Monday June 13, 2022

The arrest comes after a citizen named Comedian David Aglah spotted the vehicle, took a video footage and alerted the Police.

The Police have commended him for his effort and urge others to endeavour to bring such issues to their attention for immediate action.

The Police further encouraged Ghanaians to work together to ensure discipline on the roads.
