Police Arrest Bodyguard Of MP For Openly Firing Warning Shots In The Air During Misunderstanding

The Zabzugu police command have arrested the body guard of former deputy Northern regional minister and the Member of Parliament (MP) for Zabzugu constituency, Hon John Bennam for openly firing warning shots in the air during a misunderstanding between him and a pragyia rider named Mohammed Yushawu.

The bodyguard, Bilenbil Rockson is believed to be a member of the National Security was arrested with his boys and are currently in the police custody at Zabzugu police station.

The youths of Zabzugu got infuriated and stormed at the police station for action to be taken because according to them, they don’t understand why a Bodyguard to their MP they voted into power will turn and attacking their own with a gun.

The Police commander, the district BNI officer and other top Influential personalities visited the palace of Nyab Yelizoli Lana to call him to intervene and calm the youths of Zabzugu for the police to render the necessary investigations.
