Tourism and Development Reporter within the Sissala East Municipality, Ayamga Fatawu has discovered that some fishes were poisoned within the Gbelle Resource Reserve and have been sneaked into Markets in Dafiama-Busie-Issa and Other Districts for Sale.

Release

There is a poisonous smoked fish out in the market.
A suspect by name Haki Yussif from Doung community in the Daffiama – Issa – Bussie District in the Upper West Region of Ghana sneaked into the Gbele Resource reserve and used poisonous chemicals to catch fish, smoked them and unfortunately got chased by the Wildlife officers.
He escaped and currently on the run. But, the worry is that, it is suspected that some of his poisonous catch is out in the public domain.
The public should therefore be wary of this especially those around Kokokperi, Issa, Sambo, Funsi and their environs.
We entreat the public to help arrdt the suspect.
