Pedestrian fatally struck by fish truck in Winneba

One Feared Dead, Driver In Critical Condition In Gomoa Dabenyin Accident

One person has died after a truck loaded with fish experienced brake failure. The truck ran into pedestrians at Kokobim in Winneba.

Eyewitnesses reported that the driver lost control of the vehicle. Bystanders shouted to alert people nearby.

In the chaos, the victim fell to the ground. The truck then ran over him.

The impact caused fatal injuries, and fish were scattered across the road. This created a chaotic scene.

Residents rushed to assist, helping clear the area. They also offered support as emergency services were called.

The driver is now in police custody. Investigations into the crash are underway.

Authorities are working to determine the exact cause of the accident. The incident has left the community in shock.
