Pay Allowances So We Use Part For Feeding- TTAG To Government

Teacher Trainees Directed To Feed Themselves Starting May 8
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

The leadership of teacher trainees in Colleges of Education in the country has vowed to resist all attempts to deprive them of their three square meals per day.

It follows a new directive by the National Conference of Principals of Colleges of Education  – Ghana (PRINCOF) following delays in the payment of six-month feeding fees arrears by the government.

The trainees will from May 8, 2022, feed themselves according to the new directives.
According to PRINCOF, this is the best option to prevent a disruption in the schools’ academic calendar.

In Authority of this Bohyeba Afriyie of plan B Fm had an eloquent interview with Mr Musah Adamu General secretary Of Teacher Trainees Association Ghana (TTAG) on Ebanoosen and he confirmed that they took delivery of the said letter and are putting measures in place to stop it.

He moved on to explain that the main problem is that for the past 7month trainees have not received their allowances and it’s 50% of the Allowance that is presented to the principals office as feeding component

He concluded that in an Attempt to solve the problem they have presented a petition letter to Ministry Of Education. (MOE)
