Oti: DCE For Guan District Dies

District Chief Executive for the newly created Guan District in the Oti Region, Marlon Anipa has been reported dead.

He is believed to have died this morning in Hohoe  as confirmed by sources within the New Patriotic Party.

Details of his death are yet to be known.

Marlon Anipa was unanimously approved as the first DCE for the Guan District by all 19 Assembly members barely two weeks ago following his nomination by President Akufo-Addo.

He was a Specialist Consultant and a member of the ruling New Patriotic Party.

In 2016, he contested the Hohoe parliamentary seat on the ticket of the party but failed in his bid.
