Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, the Chairman of Operation Recover All Loot(ORAL) and Member of Parliament for North Tongu has disclosed that team has obtained significant proof of state assets being looted by former regime appointees.

The gathered evidence would shortly be brought before President John Dramani Mahama for more action, according to Ablakwa.

President Mahama assigned Ablakwa, together with Daniel Domelevo, Raymond Archer, Martin Kpebu, and Nathan Kofi Boakye, to look into and gather evidence of asset misappropriation and state capture a few weeks ago.

Ablakwa told reporters in the Eastern Region that he was confident in the team’s accomplishments, calling their effort fruitful and reaffirming their dedication to holding those accountable.

“We will not disclose the nature of our achievements until we have presented our report to His Excellency the President. When we present our report, at that presentation, the Ghanaian people will see the tremendous work that has gone on and the extent of the loot and how all of us collectively have worked successfully to make sure that the evidence is put together, is coordinated to make sure that our attorney general and our institutions help us to recover these loots.”
