NSS Scandal And The Metric App

NSS Scandal And The Metric App

How on earth can the new leadership of the National Service Authority still be using the same Metric App that allowed for the enrollment of 80 – and 90-year olds for National Service. The same digital platform that allowed ordinary paper to be used as Ghana Card for enrolment. The same digital platform that allowed ID cards with male names and female faces to be used for enrollment. The same app that allowed for photos to be duplicated and used to enrol dozens under different names. The same digital platform that allowed for fake student index numbers to be used for enrollment. The same app that allowed for one name to be repeated for over 200 times as being students from one university, who did the same course and completed the same year. In fact, the digital system that allowed for 1000s of ghost names in a scandal that the Attorney General says has costs the nation over GHC500million. How? I mean, how?
Surprisingly, the new D-G, Mr. Felix Gyamfi wants us to believe that the right things are being done using the same app.
Dear Mr. Felix Gyamfi, look, we heard the previous leadership of NSS boast about the integrity and robustness of the Metric App more than you are doing now. They told us they had used the Metric App to detect and block 14,000 ghost names. They even deceived Dr. Bawumia is to be using the NSS as a gold standard in his campaign on how the problem of ghost names has been stopped using the Ghana Card. In the end, what did we discover? tens of thousands of Ghost names.
Dear Mr. Felix Gyamfi, Ghanaians can nothing trust any so-called reforms with the same Metric App. JUST DROP THAT APP. Until then, the NSA will remain a crime scene.
Fellow Ghanaians, it’s time for us to get serious with our leaders.

Please tell Felix Gyemfi to DROP THAT METRIC APP
