Joel Gyempeh, the Communications Director of the club, has confirmed on Accra based Max FM about the decision.

According to the Gyempeh, the club has officially  written to the Ghana Football Association, informing them of their official withdrawal from the league.

This follows the unfortunate incidents that took place at the Nana Kronamansah Park after Nsoatreman defeated Asante Kotoko 1-0 in matchday 19 of the Ghana Premier League.

The violence that ensued before, during, and after the game resulted in the gruesome murder of Nana Pooley, a staunch supporter of Asante Kotoko.

More updates to follow.…………….
