The National Service Authority (NSA) has released PIN codes for 18,617 eligible nurses and midwives for the 2026/27 national service year.
According to a press release issued by the Authority on May 25, 2026, the PIN codes were generated following the submission of qualified candidates by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana on Friday, May 22, 2026.
The NSA explained that the list comprises candidates who successfully passed the August/September 2025 Licensing Examinations, popularly referred to as the major season examinations, conducted by the Council.
Management of the Authority has therefore urged all eligible trained nurses and midwives to visit the NSA website and access their PIN codes using their Student ID numbers and dates of birth through the online portal.
The Authority further indicated that prospective service personnel would be required to pay a registration fee of GH¢82.00 via Mobile Money across all networks before gaining access to the enrolment platform.
The enrolment exercise officially commenced on May 25, 2026, and is expected to end on Friday, June 5, 2026.
The NSA has advised all prospective national service personnel to complete their online registration within the stipulated period to avoid any inconvenience.
Meanwhile, the Authority reminded the public that under Section 29(1) of the National Service Authority Act, 2024 (Act 1119), only Ghanaian citizens who have completed a course of study at a tertiary education institution qualify to undertake national service.
