The National Service Authority (NSA) has given prospective National Service Personnel affected by biodata mismatches a final opportunity to rectify their records and complete their registration ahead of the deadline.
In a press release dated August 24, 2026, the NSA urged all affected students who have been unable to resolve their biodata issues to report to the Authority’s headquarters before August 26, 2026 for assistance and final resolution.
The intervention is being carried out in collaboration with the National Identification Authority (NIA), Ghana Publishing Company and Commissioners for Oaths.
The NSA explained that students who are yet to obtain the required affidavit will be assisted to prepare and swear the necessary affidavit to support corrections to their biodata.
Students who require Gazette publication will also be guided through the process by the Ghana Publishing Company.
The Authority further clarified that students who have already obtained their affidavits and/or Gazette publications but have not had their records corrected must also report to the NSA Headquarters with the original documents and other relevant supporting documents.
Affected students are required to come along with their Ghana Card and, where applicable, their affidavit and Gazette publication to facilitate the necessary corrections.
The NSA said once the required corrections have been effected and the students’ records properly aligned, they will be able to proceed with the National Service registration process.
The Authority is therefore urging all prospective National Service Personnel who are still affected by biodata mismatches, as well as those who have completed the affidavit or Gazette processes but are yet to have their records updated, to take advantage of the intervention before the August 26 deadline.
The NSA stressed that the exercise represents the final opportunity for affected students to regularise their records and complete their National Service registration within the stipulated period.
It has consequently urged all affected students to act promptly and report to the NSA Headquarters with all necessary original documents to avoid missing the registration deadline.
