NPP communicator Richard Anning has criticized the NDC government for increasing electricity tariffs by 17.2% within just six months in office. Speaking on Nkosuo Nsem, he accused President Mahama of worsening the economic situation despite being hailed by some as a beacon of hope.
“When they were in opposition, they promised relief, but now Ghanaians are suffering even more,” Anning said.
He also fiercely defended the National Cathedral project started by the NPP, saying, “I pray anyone who touches the Cathedral perishes. It is a sacred national vision.”
