NPP Suspends Top Official In Sekondi

Following an unpatriotic behavior on the part of its official in the area, the Executive Committee of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Sekondi of the Western Region has suspended one of its officials, one Osumanu Ibrahim popularly known in the area as Sansiro.

According to the party, Mr. Ibrahim, the assembly member for the Assamansudu Electoral Area in Sekondi has been suspended indefinitely based on an unpatriotic behavior he put up which is inimical to the party’s constitution.

Announcing the suspension, the party through a statement, explained that Ibrahim was suspended after a petition dated September 23, 2021 was issued against his unpatriotic behavior which according to the party is contrary to the party’s constitution.

The statement continued that after a thorough enquiry into the petition by the Disciplinary Committee of the NPP, Ousmanu Ibrahim was found liable of the offense conduct he was accused of. The statement further stated that based on that he was suspended indefinitely as enshrined in Article 4, Section 7, subsection 1g of the party’s constitution.

He is required to submit to the party’s office in Sekondi membership car and other properties in his possession which belong to the party, and has been banned from participating in any party related activities.
