NPP General Secretary JFK needs to be careful – Dr Amoako Baah cautions

NPP General Secretary JFK needs to be careful – Dr Amoako Baah cautions
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

An open advice has been given to the National Executives of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), especially its General Secretary Justin Frimpong Koduah(JFK), to be very careful or else he will cause the disaffection for the rank and file of the party.

A stalwart in the party and an open critic Dr. Richard Amoako Baah believes the back and forth on the Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta’s removal from office is as a result of a letter signed by the General Secretary order MPs of the majority not to take part in a vote of censure on the floor of parliament.

Dr Baah thinks the party and the General Secretary had no business in that process when the parliamentarians were doing independent work for their constituents.

He said on a Kumasi-based radio station that the continuous interference of such a process betrays the well-meaning thoughts of loyal party members.

“The NPP executives especially the general secretary he should be careful otherwise they will vote him out. It is no joke ooo…people are very upset. It is the parliamentarians who hold this party every month we deduct money from their pay cheques to support the party and you are going to tell them what to do?  Who told you got that power? The Secretary has power over MPs….no you don’t and so let’s see what happens and if it comes down to us we will vote him out too”, he threatened

“Justin (got a job from the presidency YEA) so he is with the presidency so he is telling MP’s what to do, who is he? The reason they were voted for is to straighten things because things are not going on well, what they have done so far he should tell us and you are giving instructions to them to tell them what to do”

“The President told the MPs he will make sure they lose their seats, he said it and so what?  Make sure he (the President loses) his seat first by voting him out, that is how it is to vote him out. I have said it, anytime the president is in office Ghana is in trouble”, he lamented.
