Richard Ahiagbah, the Director of Communications for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), was involved in a car accident at Duampompo near Konongo.
He is reported to be in stable condition and is currently receiving treatment at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi.
Details about other potential casualties are not yet confirmed, and his car was severely damaged in the incident.
