The National Petroleum Authority (NPA) has threatened to make public the names of shareholders of some 45 Oil Marketing Companies that owe the Primary Distribution Margin Fund.

According to the Authority, it will take action on September 30 should these OMCs fail to settle their indebtedness.

Apart from publishing their names, the National Petroleum Authority says it will crack the whip by ensuring that lawful actions are taken against them.

These were contained in a statement from the Authority Monday September 12, 2022.
