On Monday, September 27, 2021, she drowned after a heavy downpour,

Madam Yaa Baby, who was caring for the child while the mother was away, said the small girl went out on her blindside during the downpour.

She claimed that a search for the girl’s whereabouts was conducted but she was not found.

She stated that the little girl’s body was recovered today, Tuesday, September 28, 2021, in a creek a few meters away from the house.

The deceased’s body was transported by police and deposited in the morgue for preservation and autopsy.

Meanwhile, seven individuals went missing in the Atwima Kwanwoma District’s Ahenema Kokobeng after being swept away by river Aboabo while attempting to cross during the severe downpour.

The river exceeded its bank during the severe downpour, according to Kwadwo Bosomuru, a member of the area’s Unit Committee who watched the people being washed away.
