Newly Elected NPP Executives Need To Get The Gov’t To Produce Results Within The Remaining Time If They Intend To Break The Eight – Nicheren Appiah Boadi

Newly Elected NPP Executives Need To Get The Gov’t To Produce Results Within The Remaining Time If They Intend To Break The Eight – Nicheren Appiah Boadi

Nicheren Appiah Boadi a social commentator has said that the success of the current New Patriotic Party executives depends on their working relationship with the President.

According to him, it is very important for the team to find a way to work closely with the President to nudge him to turn things around for the better while there is still some time to the 2024 elections.

He said even though several factors including the case of generational balance, regional balance and party work experience are working in the favour of this new crop of executives, should the President refuse to cooperate with them, they would be rendered useless.

Speaking on Plan B Fm’s Ebaanosen hosted by Ohene Kinnah, he explained that

“The elected officials can do their best, but in the end, if it does not translate into executive action it’s a waste of time. The people are not angry with the elected officials, they’re angry with the government and so that’s where the attention should be.

All the dynamics of those who are coming, that‘s fine, but it means nothing if it’s not translated into action that the executive can carry out and make people a bit more comfortable. People are very angry, and when people are very angry you need kind words, you need to be spoken to.”

He noted that people who had in previous times calmed party supporters and garnered sympathy for the party have today lost their credibility and fallen out with the people thus the only option left was to get the government to produce results within the remaining time if they intend to break the eight.
